With such a small and pretty terrible MLB slate today, the only team that I really like tonight is Houston against Cleveland. I think we are getting a good price here on their moneyline at -125 on DraftKings, as this is juiced to -132 at FanDuel, so grab that discount while it is there. I expect most books to keep jacking up this price as the day goes on.

The Guardians are starting LHP Logan Allen tonight, and he has struggled so far this season with a 4.38 xERA and 4.36 xFIP. There is nothing in his pitching profile that says he's anything more than an average arm at best, and he has a very tough matchup tonight against the Astros. Houston owns a massive 123 wRC+ as an offense against left-handed pitching so far this season, just crushing southpaws. They are batting .267 as a lineup against LHPs, and just about every statistic improves for them over when they play right-handers.

RHP Spencer Arrighetti is getting the start for the Astros, and if you just looked at his numbers at face value, you would be sending him down to AAA immediately. He owns a 10.97 ERA and 2.34 WHIP, both of which are just awful numbers. However, he owns a 4.36 xERA and 4.14 xFIP, indicating that he is not nearly as bad as those numbers say. Now, those still aren't good numbers, but they aren't close to where he is now. Cleveland's offense ranks in the middle of the pack against right-handers, so they aren't as huge of a threat to Arrighetti as the Astros are to Allen.

We cashed both the Red Sox ML and their team total here yesterday, as I loved their matchup against Daulton Jefferies. I am taking the same logic I applied to those winning bets yesterday and applying it here, as I feel that the Astros have the best matchup on today's MLB slate.

For all the reasons above, I think getting even money on them to score five runs against Allen and the Guardians is a good price. Some places have this juiced closer to -110 odds, so take the discount here.
