Rockies at Padres YRFI (-110, DraftKings)

The Padres have actually unseated the Rockies as the top YRFI pick in baseball. Naturally, a game between them is likely to hit YRFI. In fairness, the Rockies haven't scored a ton of first-inning runs on the road this year. But they did score a first run against San Diego’s Randy Vasquez at Coors Field last month. The Rox are also riding a four-game winning streak and scored two first-inning runs on Sunday because the top half of their lineup has some capable hitters.

On the other side, Dakota Hudson gets the start for Colorado. While he’s been good in the first inning this year outside of a disastrous start against the Blue Jays, we can't ignore his 6.35 ERA. A pitcher like him is bound to have problems in the first inning sooner or later. He also has poor numbers against hitters he’s likely to face early in this game. Xander Bogaerts, Fernando Tatis Jr., and Manny Machado are a combined 11 for 27 (.407) with four extra-base hits against Hudson. That gives the Padres a good chance to ruin Hudson’s stretch of good first-inning performances.
