Donte DiVincenzo Over 15.5 Points (-109, BetRivers)

After seeing his role diminish slightly in the first round against the Sixers, DiVincenzo scored 23 points and played 48 minutes in the clinching Game 6. In three matchups against this Pacers team in the regular season, DiVincenzo scored 38, 20 and 14 points (from least recent to most recent) and this is the type of up-tempo matchup that should favor his skill set. In the regular season, Indiana allowed opposing shooting guards to average the third-most points per game (23.53), thus putting him in a fantastic individual matchup. 

Obi Toppin Over 9.5 Points (-118, FanDuel)

Toppin may have averaged 19.2 minutes per game in the first round against the Bucks, but he averaged 12.3 points on 9.8 shots per game in the limited playing time. He’s gone over this number four straight times, with 21, 12, 13 and 15 (from most recent to least recent). He scored nine, 12 and nine points against the Knicks in the regular season, but given the way that Toppin comes in off the bench firing with so much energy, I think he could have an even more drastic impact on this series since Tom Thibodeau’s rotations are so thin and New York will likely not be playing with fresh legs very often. Toppin’s athleticism should allow him to get to the rim and he’s also a willing perimeter shooter.

He went over this number in four of the six games against Philly (making four threes three times and three once) and should benefit from the pace-up matchup. Remember, the Knicks played at the slowest pace in the NBA during the regular season and have played at the slowest pace during the playoffs as well while the Pacers played at the 2nd-fastest pace in the regular season.

Tyrese Haliburton Over 9.5 Assists (-105, BetMGM)

The two times that Haliburton played 30-plus minutes against the Knicks in the regular season, he put up 23 and 12 dimes. In three meetings against Indiana this year, he averaged 21.0 potential assists in just 29.3 minutes played, so I naturally like his upside despite the tough matchup. Indy is going to try to push the pace and getting easy points against New York’s defense will require Haliburton to create, particularly on fast break opportunities and early in the shot clock before the defense gets set.

Aaron Gordon Under 4.5 Assists (-120, FanDuel)

It’s clear that Gordon is going to have a size disadvantage in this series, as both Naz Reid and Karl-Anthony Towns are both taller than him. Gordon had six assists on eight potential assists in Game 1, but completed just 29 passes, the lowest mark among Nuggets starters. That 20.7% pass-to-assist rate is not sustainable (it was 12.5% in the regular season) and I certainly think the under is clearly the best play at this 4.5-dime number.
