I have analyzed shot charts, dove into box scores, and checked the historical statistics for everyone's favorite NBA prop bet, points. Here, I am giving away my favorite points props for tonight's games and I will let you know who I think is due for a breakout game, and which superstars are primed to light up the scoreboard? Let's find out!
Donte DiVincenzo Over 15.5 Points (-109, BetRivers)
After seeing his role diminish slightly in the first round against the Sixers, DiVincenzo scored 23 points and played 48 minutes in the clinching Game 6. In three matchups against this Pacers team in the regular season, DiVincenzo scored 38, 20 and 14 points (from least recent to most recent) and this is the type of up-tempo matchup that should favor his skill set. In the regular season, Indiana allowed opposing shooting guards to average the third-most points per game (23.53), thus putting him in a fantastic individual matchup.
Obi Toppin Over 9.5 Points (-118, FanDuel)
Toppin may have averaged 19.2 minutes per game in the first round against the Bucks, but he averaged 12.3 points on 9.8 shots per game in the limited playing time. He’s gone over this number four straight times, with 21, 12, 13 and 15 (from most recent to least recent). He scored nine, 12 and nine points against the Knicks in the regular season, but given the way that Toppin comes in off the bench firing with so much energy, I think he could have an even more drastic impact on this series since Tom Thibodeau’s rotations are so thin and New York will likely not be playing with fresh legs very often. Toppin’s athleticism should allow him to get to the rim and he’s also a willing perimeter shooter.
I drilled down and dialed in for these three pointer props! These data-driven three-point prop picks will help you navigate tonight's NBA slate and are some of the best NBA props for tonight's games.
Josh Hart Over 1.5 Made Threes (-120, DraftKings)
These are the minutes that Hart played in the first round against the Sixers: 42, 48, 43, 46, 53 and 46. That’s insane. While he’s never been known for his shooting or scoring abilities, just being on the floor for that long has made him a solid prop target every time out. He went over this number in four of the six games against Philly (making four threes three times and three once) and should benefit from the pace-up matchup. Remember, the Knicks played at the slowest pace in the NBA during the regular season and have played at the slowest pace during the playoffs as well while the Pacers played at the 2nd-fastest pace in the regular season.
Find the best assist prop picks for tonight's games. I've sifted through potential assist, passing ratings, and all the data you need to cash some winning tickets.
Tyrese Haliburton Over 9.5 Assists (-105, BetMGM)
The two times that Haliburton played 30-plus minutes against the Knicks in the regular season, he put up 23 and 12 dimes. In three meetings against Indiana this year, he averaged 21.0 potential assists in just 29.3 minutes played, so I naturally like his upside despite the tough matchup. Indy is going to try to push the pace and getting easy points against New York’s defense will require Haliburton to create, particularly on fast break opportunities and early in the shot clock before the defense gets set.
Aaron Gordon Under 4.5 Assists (-120, FanDuel)
It’s clear that Gordon is going to have a size disadvantage in this series, as both Naz Reid and Karl-Anthony Towns are both taller than him. Gordon had six assists on eight potential assists in Game 1, but completed just 29 passes, the lowest mark among Nuggets starters. That 20.7% pass-to-assist rate is not sustainable (it was 12.5% in the regular season) and I certainly think the under is clearly the best play at this 4.5-dime number.
Check out which players are going to clean the glass tonight and win some rebound prop bets. I've analyzed dozens of data points to provide you the best NBA player props for tonight. Here are some expert rebound picks.
Jaden McDaniels Over 4.5 Rebounds (+110, BetMGM)
McDaniels played 39 minutes in Game 1 and pulled down eight rebounds on 14 rebounding chances, the 2nd-highest number on his team for both stats. He’s going to be on the floor for the majority of the game once again and given the fact that Karl-Anthony Towns and Naz Reid combined for 12 rebounding chances in Game 1, I think this is one of the clear edges I want to exploit in Game 2.
Check out my favorite combination prop picks for tonight's games. Find out which players have the best opportunity to win when combining props like points + rebounds + assists, double-doubles, triple-doubles and more.
Anthony Edwards Over 39.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110, DraftKings)
Edwards dropped 43 points, seven rebounds (on nine chances) and three assists (on six potential helpers) in Game 1 and had 84 touches, up from 69 per game in the regular season. Therefore, it’s reasonable to assume that he will have the volume to get over this number again in points alone (he went 17-for-29 shooting in Game 1).

OG Anunoby Over 2.5 Steals + Blocks (-105, BetMGM)
Anunoby played 47, 50 and 45 minutes over the last three games, so injury concerns are completely gone for the oft-injured forward. He went over this mark in all three of those contests as one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA.
